Welcome to The Bicycle Apartment- a clean and bright upstairs apartment attached to a cute historic home built in 1901. The Bicycle Apartment has a full kitchen, 55 inch TV, premium mattress, shared laundry facilities, roll-away desk, reliable wifi and private keyless entrance. And yes, two bicycles! We are just a fifteen minute walk to downtown Snohomish with its many restaurants and coffee shops.
The space:
Our family enjoys travelling and we have stayed in rentals across the US, so we know what amenities we appreciate. We start with a comfortable bed and provide quality linens-cozy flannel in the winter months and crisp cotton in the summer. The bedroom has room-darkening curtains. We provide coffee, tea and some cookies. We want you to make memories and provide many items to help you enjoy our sweet little town. We are named the Bicycle Apartment because we are only one block away from the Centennial Bicycle trail and we provide two adult bikes. On this trail, you can ride into town (five minutes) or all the way to Arlington (30 miles)! Also just two blocks away is the Snohomish Aquatic Center and we can lend beach-towels. In the summer it is possible to enjoy local swimming holes such as the Pilchuck river and nearby Flowing Lake and we have tubes, life-jackets and portable lawn chairs available for this summer fun.
Guest access:
Parking is either in the driveway or on the street (there is plenty).
*Please note that this is NOT a luxury accommodation. The oven and microwave, while clean and in good working order, are relics of the 90's. We have a small portable AC unit which, in very high temps, will adequately cool just the bedroom. Finally, this space will not be suitable for those with limited mobility on account of the stairs.
For stays longer than a week, we provide ample disposable amenities to get you started (toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, coffee etc.), however we do not replenish, and the guest is responsible for buying their own additional disposable amenities for the duration of the stay. We provide a discount for long-term stays to account for this. Thanks for understanding.
