Located on a beautiful 84 acre farm nestled in the heart of the Shawangunk Mountains, find relaxation along the river while fishing for brown trout, perch and crawfish, hike trails on the property and walk next door to our neighbors winery that offers live music.
We are approximately a 20 minute ride to many hiking/biking trails, wineries, skiing, sky diving, state parks. Visit the famous ice cave and cliffs in charming Cragsmoor, New York, which is located just 15 minutes away. All that said, there is really no need to go anywhere because everything you'll want to enjoy this unique camping experience outdoors you'll find right here along the Shawangunk Kill.

We are a direct route up the NYS Thruway to Route 17 just 90 minutes NW of NYC and an hour away from Bergen and Rockland Counties. You can easily drive your vehicle directly to your campsite. We hope you consider us for your next weekend or weekday getaway at our five star tents.
The Space:
Enjoy all the river has to offer at this private getaway with easy beach access. We are a 90 minute drive from NYC.
Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.
Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Other Things to Note:
Always use caution because you are amongst wildlife.
Do not trespass the property across the river or venture onto any property that borders our property lines.
It is a good idea to wear water shoes in the river to protect your feet from sharp rocks and driftwood.
Bring your own sheets, pillows, blankets/sleeping bags, food, drinks and other essentials you may need like extra layers, sunscreen, bug repellent, sunglasses and hats.
We supply water and your first load of firewood. (We supply more if needed. See extras.)
We also provide lanterns and lights/with headbands so you can find your way around at night.
You may bring your dogs, but please be respectful of our property and pick up after them.
One night stays will be considered on a case by case basis depending on preexisting reservations - don't hesitate to ask.
Please inquire if you are looking for accommodations for a larger group! We have a sister site on the property with amazing mountain views and sunsets ideal to rent at the same time if you're looking for two platform tents.
Enjoy some of the extras and book a morning mindful movement class or a guided meditation facilitated by your Campkeeper Eileen Downes or book a two hour swim in Eileen's beautiful built-in salt water pool (per availability), and purchase extras like firewood, cooler, camp chairs, fully prepared bed with sheets, blanket and pillows (See extras).
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
