We’re tucked away in a secluded cove with 1.5 acres of land surrounded by the sounds of nature. Balch Lake is a 577-acre water body located on the NH-ME border.
Come enjoy the serene and cozy lakefront home away from home! The rustic ambiance allows you to unwind from everyday life. Experience waking up to the sunrise, and sipping coffee or tea on the back deck overlooking the lake. Relax by the private beach, take the canoe or kayaks on a quiet stroll, and enjoy each other's company by the fire pit.
You’re within a couple of hours of nearby family fun winter activities such as skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling, tuning, shoeing, ice fishing, etc.
Check out ice fishing at Tim Moore’s Outdoor at Lake Winnipesaukee, the snowmobile trail at Northern Extremes just minutes away from the home, or Gunstock Mountain Resort and King Pine Ski for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. North Conway is a short drive away and it includes historic sightseeing, dining, and shops. A little further away enjoy kid activities at Santa’s Village and NH Ice Castles. This rustic modern-style home can sleep up to 8-10 people. It’s a 3-level home with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The lower level includes a master suite with a king-size bed and a full bath, the second level contains 1 bedroom bunk bed with a king and twin mattresses and a full bath, the top level with 2 bedrooms one room with two full-size beds, and the other a king size bed with a shared closet and a beautiful view of the lake. We also have a portable oversized playpen for infants (can be used as a bed as well) or toddlers and a high chair.
The home has an open floor-plan living space. We have brand-new kitchen appliances, marble countertops, an electric stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. Our kitchen is fully stocked with dinner and bakeware, glasses, full-set utensils, and children's dish sets — plenty of cooking appliances and spices. We have a two-level large deck with a gas grill and patio seating overlooking the lake.
Bathrooms are equipped with bath towels, and toiletries such as shampoos, conditioners, body wash, and toilet paper. We also have a laundry room with a washer and dryer on the lower level.
We supply Kayaks and a variety of floaters, and life jackets. We have outdoor lawn games such as corn hole, Kan Jam disc toss game, and many more. The beach is shallow so please no jumping off the dock. We tried to think of everything you would need to stay at a home away from home!
There are several great nearby local restaurants and general stores within 2 miles such as Blue Bay Seafood & Steaks, Cindy’s Place, Knotty Pine Grill and Tavern, Country Goods & Groceries, and many more.
Within 10 10-minute drive to the famous Poor People’s Pub, Wakefield House of Pizza, Wakefield Inn & Restaurant, Wonton’s Chinese Restaurant, Hannaford Supermarket, and Lovell Lake Village Market.

King Pine Ski Area is a 30-minute drive and offers winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and snowshoeing. Ice fishing trip at Tim Moore outdoors Alton and Snowmobile trail and rentals are less than an hour from the home. We are an hour away from North Conway Village for sightseeing, dining, and shops. Santa’s Village (family fun rides, shows, and shops) and Ice castles are less than two hours away. White Mountain National Park 1.5 hrs for hiking trails, and waterfalls.
