In the Village of Siasconset, seven miles south of the Township of Nantucket, is Shanunga. More than a cottage, the main house is in the national registry and has won awards through my mother and sisters' design work in 2018 when they joined to renovate the pristine property. The guest cottage is just a bonus!
Perennial gardens and climbing roses are visible through the window, making a lovely backdrop for the outdoor seating. The main house has been newly renovated to provide a galley kitchen with an AGA range, Sub Zero drawers, two new bathrooms, central air, and heat. The main house has a king bedroom downstairs and two twin beds upstairs. The mini guesthouse or office has a queen bed and bathroom.
