The Back Eddy is an excellent restaurant with fresh seafood just steps from the house with beautiful views of the Westport River and outdoor dining or take out, two vineyards (Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery and Sakonnet Vineyards), shops and restaurants on Main Road in Westport Village and nearby Little Compton as well as all the major chains in nearby Dartmouth near UMass Dartmouth.
If it's outdoor activities you want you can also rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boards at Osprey Sea and Surf Adventures.
