Lake O' the Pines is an excellent fishing lake well know for its big Crappie and Bass. Once you fish Lake O' the Pines you will want to come back time and time again. There is a boat ramp 100 yards down the street, and plenty of room to pull your boat up to the shore in front of the cabin.
East Texas is a wonderful place to explore. Beautiful blooming Dogwoods and flowers are plentiful in the Piney woods in the Spring. Fall is equally beautiful when the leaves are putting on an awesome Autumn display. Wildlife abounds the area. It is not uncommon to see Deer and Bald Eagles from the deck of Pine Cove Cabin.
Jefferson is just 8 miles away and is a historic gem. The town is full of shopping and great restaurants. There are numerous stores selling everything from antiques to the latest fashion.
