Our beloved 5 bedroom 4.5 bathroom waterfront home is perfect for vacations with family and friends for all seasons! Located directly on Long Pond, our home has easy access into the water right from our back yard. The pond is a fisherman's dream! It is stocked with trout every spring, and is known for having bass, pickerel, perch, and sunfish. On the other side of the pond there are two small freshwater beaches, the sandy Lyman Beach and the charming Wings Grove Beach (with a playground and a basketball court).
Fully renovated recently, our home has a main house and an attached in-law apartment. In the main side of the house, the kitchen is upgraded with beautiful granite countertop and stainless-steel appliances. Enjoy family meals in the bright open dining room overlooking the gorgeous pond. Relax in the cozy living room with the sectional sofa and the flat screen TV. Our younger guests love the toys and books in the large playroom, which comes with a TV, a large L shaped couch, and a day bed. Need to do some laundry? There’s a half bathroom conveniently equipped with washer and dryer next to the kitchen.
The main house has 3 bedrooms on the second floor, including 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with new floors, upgraded shower and granite counter tops. If you need a space to work, there’s a home office on the first floor that’s also used as the 4th bedroom, which has two full sized bunk beds. From an interior door on the first floor of the main house, you can access to the attached in-law apartment, where you can find the 5th bedroom with gleaming new floors, a California king bed, a twin day bed, and a TV. The in-law apartment also comes with a full kitchen with dining area, a full bathroom, and a separate living room with a TV, a treadmill, and a convertible sofa bed. The number of beds in our home can accommodate 14 adults comfortably, more if there are young children.
Enjoy the breathtaking views of the pond from our private deck, oversized and wrapped around the back of the house, fully furnished with plenty of sitting areas to accommodate large parties. There is a grill and a built-in outdoor fire table that is perfect for making s'mores! Our large flat back yard is great for all sorts of lawn games, and right from the yard you can find a direct entrance into the pond, which is popular for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. We have 1 double kayak and 2 single kayaks for our guests to enjoy.
We will provide all the towels and sheets, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. We will be leaving a few beach chairs as well. We also have a portable pack ‘n play with a crib for our youngest guests. There are AC units throughout the house.
Renters will NOT have access to the garage during their stay. Approximately 6 vehicles can fit in the driveway depending on size. We have our yard sprayed for ticks throughout the Spring and Summer months. Trash is picked up 2x/week, there may be an additional pickup fee if extra trash removal is needed during your stay. **This is NOT a party house**.
There are two grocery stores within a 3-minute drive from our home, as well as a mini golf, go karts, multiple salt-water beaches, an entrance to the Cape Cod bike trail, many beautiful golf courses, the Cape Cod Creamery - all within a 5-10 minute drive.
This is a Saturday to Saturday rental during the summer months. Shorter term stays are accommodated starting after Labor Day.
